ILTA's IT Staffing Survey

More than 200 law firms provided data for this fact-packed survey that examines the nature of IT staffing in law firms.  How many IT people does it take to manage technology in a law firm, what do they do and what does it cost?  We asked those broad thematic questions, and we know you’ll find the conclusions interesting.  Among other things, we analyzed the ratio of end-users to IT staff for firms of various sizes, based on a set of 20 standard IT job functions.  We also looked at the impact of outsourcing on staffing and at IT spending on a per-attorney basis.  This is a thought-provoking survey, especially as you ponder your own firm experience.
